It was great to see the photographs of IET after 16 years of getting out of that place. Our batch was the 4th so we filled up the college completely for the first time. This front road used to be our cricket ground. There was a tree below which we used to sit and cheer our mates during matches. I hope it is still there.
Great job done. It was nice to see two Civil Engineers participating in doing some thing constructive. In our times we used to study and were often thought off as trouble creators. Keep up the good show dear ones(You all must have been 4-5 years old when we entered IET). By the way when that "red" colour has been introduced in the IET logo?

Where do I begin with, the contrive or the libretto or the sequence of the scenes. it is a job extremely well done with cachet to the whole team
My candor, this sequence makes anyone from IET or otherwise very redolent of the memories of their Alma Mater.
Every detail captured in the progression of the video remind us what the seniors dreamt and believed in the Alma Mater, the posterity accomplished it and strive accomplish even more.

A great effort; very meticulous work; this exudes some great talent in the young and dynamic engineers of IET.
In the prelude, "The IET" billboard, was definitely not there when we graduated but as the video progresses some fond memories come by.
We had LKD (Lambu Ka Dhaba), which I believe has now taken over by "Fauji Dhaba", seems to be 50% equity and 50% cash negotiation.
GKD (Gupta ji Ki Chai Ki Dukan) has now been replaced by a 100% EOU (Engineer Oriented Unit), but the memories are still reminiscent.
The most challenging destination for the guys where "NO Man Has Ever Gone Before" the Gargi Bhawan.. At last we got a glimpse of that as well!!! (Well done gals and guys). Thanks, for helping us realize our dreams.
Technology has revamped the facade of our great Nation and IET is definitely not behind. I saw the PCs in the boys dormitory, which by the way the prerogative of the very very few in our time and now seems to be ubiqutous.
I am sure "Nanital Express" still passes by at 10:15 pm at the Mohibullapur railway station.

I believe I was one of the first to download your video. And once I did, I could not resist watching it a couple of times even though I had to rush for a class. When I did finally make it to the class, I found myself constantly humming na jaa :) I simply could not get the song out of my mind for a long time after that. Everything about it is simply superb!! The lyrics, vocals, melody, the music. And all this has been excellently showcased in a straight-from-the-heart video that you guys shot. It genuinely captures your camaraderie! On the other side, I was sad to see the hostels looking so shabby...looks like they havnen't even been painted in the 13 years since our batch left. Even the campus looked dried and dusty with very little greenery...I wish the management spends some money on maintenance rather than filling thier personal coffers...this things do matter.
Secondly, I wish u guys have edited out those shots which had smoking scenes, LOL !! Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against smokers, its just that my little kids saw the video and since they are trained to think that smoking is for "bad people", they promptly declared after the video that Papa's "school" is full of "bad people" !!! LOL !!

A simple ‘thanks’ cannot express our gratitude to all of you for being so appreciative.
We never expected such a response.
So far as the chat rooms and forums are concerned, I am planning to develop a mega mega alumni website of our institute.
I have this in my mind since a year and wanted to take it as my final year project but somehow it couldn’t materialize.
The extensive updation/upgradation etc. of the placement site never left me with any time to invest in alumni site. For people who don’t know… now each and every student(B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA) of the institute from 2002 entry batch onwards has a profile registered at the placement site with his/her phone no., address and all details with extensive search facilities. and this’ll continue for further batches now.
I am planning to develop this alumni site sometime in july/august on .NET platform.
It’ll have discussion forums, Branch-wise/Year-wise batches, chat rooms, a comprehensive search engine and just everything it should have. I’ll be putting each and every bit of my developing experience into this project.
And for this I’ll need your help. Technical help of you all to guide me. Help on what all should we have on website. Database design, Normalization, concurrency management, security etc etc. Help to reach to alumnae to join the site.
It’s a big ask but with the help of you all, I’ll be able to deliver. I assure you that yahoo groups and orkut communities will be an obsolete thing then.
We all have our final semesters in 10 days from now :-( and after that I’ll go all out on this project.
This one is the last dream I have for this college... I bet you’ll all be there to help me realize it.

Well I think through this platform we guys far from each other interacting with each at a fast pace. Well I remember most of the guys from CS 1997-2001 batch(Rajan nagina...one time mess sec of B block, Deepak as abt whom rajan also mentioned,....there were so many talents in that block....I still remember all the cricket tournaments, badminton tournaments, Shorayautsav, and much liked Encore...). It was great fun to rag the new guys in classes, which we enjoyed more rather then ragging in hostels....specially when my senior girls ragged me..Those are really unforgetable momemnts...dancing in classes with no music...that too again different sort of...so it was great fun guys.
I didn't enjoyed the company of my batch much but I was always very close to BTech guys and ya girls as well :)
I really had great fun during that time...so thanks to all those moments of IET, which i still enjoy sometimes...!!

You know each feedback on this page is such a reward for us.
We never felt like so closely knit family before.
LKD is very much there and still a favourite hangout of ours...
I used Adobe Photoshop for the na jaa logo and used Macromedia Flash for the website header on the home-page.

1) I loved the graphic logo of na-ja. Will anyone tell me what software was used to create it, please? (himanshu.gaurav at gmail.com)
2) Get rid of Times New Roman font, its so common in amatuer websites and u guys are far from it
3) Can someone put up some pictures of the campus...I would love to see new boys hostel (my room was on 1st floor, can't remember the number) or even C block (where I was in 1st and 2nd year). Is LKD still there? I know that this site is not for such a purpose but I am being greedy as u guys already have the infrastructure.
BTW, my wife is also an IETian...that makes us a rare IET couple...I believe only a few are out there in the wild :-)
